ludes four events held by AARP at the Arthur F. Turner Community Library in West Sacramento. Each monthly event will feature a different topic about living healthy as an older adult. You are welcome to bring a lunch. No registration is required.

 September 14: “HomeFit” Workshop: Learn about simple, do-it-yourself repairs — or even larger design projects — than can help make your home work for you as you age.

October 12: Medicare 101: Signing up for Medicare at the right time is important. We will discuss enrollment periods, possible penalties, and a brief overview of your Medicare choices.

November 9: “Prepare to Care”: Learn how to build a framework to help prepare to provide care for family members, neighbors, or friends.

December 7: Investing for Retirement: Learn about the types of investments available, and talk about useful investment concepts, like risk-and-reward and time horizon, as well as how to work with a financial planner.
