Salsa Loteria Monologues explore the life, strength and resilience of Latina immigrants from our community. Learn about the obstacles they face, the love of family that inspires them and celebrate their courage to leave their home and venture to a new country. Then monologues are written and performed by Rosa Elena Valle Cerezo, Carmen Reina Nelson, Laura Adriana Soto Rubalcava, Teresita Lozano, Elena Aranda, and Ana Karina Casa Ibarra under the direction of Kirsten Wilson as part of a Motus Monologue Workshop. This performance is produced by Motus Theater and Programa Companers through grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Boulder Human Relations Commission and the Boulder County Arts Alliance.
