AARP is proud to support Palmetto state residents in their community and statewide activities. AARP provides an array of non-partisan informational and outreach opportunities, so you can raise your voice and influence candidates on the national, state, and local levels. We can help you make the most out of the living history that is South Carolina’s First-In-The-South Primary.

Through various events and get togethers across the state, AARP wants to recruit community leaders like you across the state.  If you want to make a difference in your neighborhood, your state, and your country, please consider a volunteer role with AARP South Carolina. There are many upcoming informational and outreach opportunities; those occasions range from attending an event to building and leading an all-volunteer team. It’s exciting, it’s fun, and it’s important.

AARP is non-partisan – we do not endorse candidates and we don’t contribute money to PACs or campaigns. For AARP, election season is about helping citizens exercise their Constitutional rights, participate in democracy, and stand-up for the civic process. Our experience working with candidates and the media allows our members both access and the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the political process.

Are you a civic leader who is ready to make a difference? Join us for an information session this fall in Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, or Beaufort/Hilton Head.
