You’re invited to AARP Massachusetts Night on Boston’s City Hall Plaza on Wednesday, Aug. 16, to enjoy the sounds of Stardust as part of the Dorothy Curran Wednesday Night Concert Series.

Now celebrating 45 years as Boston’s longest-running outdoor concert series, the Wednesday evening performances feature entertainment for music lovers of all ages. This series is presented by Mayor Walsh in partnership with the Boston Parks & Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Office of Tourism, Sports, & Entertainment (aka the Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture).

On AARP Massachusetts Night, Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m., the featured performance is by Stardust. Stardust is comprised of full-time, professional musicians, who are among some of the most talented and experienced musicians in the entertainment industry. The band is in high demand and performs regularly at fine venues and hotels throughout the country. The band features Cecilia Colucci, vocals; Charles Clark, lead vocals, keyboards; Keith Kostick, trumpet, flugelhorn, piccolo trumpet, vocals; and band members Adam Feldman, Lionel Girardeau, Brian Locher, Michael Powers, and Bill Vint.

“We believe that the excitement level, dancing energy, and general feel of the party are directly related to the skill and ability of the band, and that the music should be ‘recording quality.’ We will compromise neither quality nor expertise.” — Stardust

This concert is free and begins at 7 p.m. For more information, and to learn about other concerts in the Dorothy Curran Wednesday Night Concert Series, call 617-635-4505 or visit the Boston Parks & Recreation Department online or on their Facebook Page.
