Volunteering AARP Arkansas Hub 2 will meet Thursday, April 24, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the AARP State Office in Little Rock. All volunteers in Pulaski, Saline, Garland, and Jefferson counties are invited to attend. RSVP is required; please call 501-217-1628. Volunteering Jack Harris remembers watching his own parents deal with aging and wanting to help other older people handle their challenges as well. Now 86, Harris has spent nearly a quarter century helping AARP as a legislative advocate, AARP Driver Safety instructor and AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteer.
