Local Resources AARP Foundation again this year, starting on the first Tuesday in February, is providing free assistance with preparation of personal income tax returns for taxpayers with moderate to low incomes. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in its 45th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention those 60 and older. Medicaid opening to Ohioans in low-wage jobs

Local Resources Beginning in January,  hard-working Ohioans in low-wage jobs who haven’t been able to get affordable health insurance will have a new option.\ For the first time, low-income Ohioans under age 65 without dependent children will qualify for Medicaid coverage. Low-income Ohioans with dependent children will be eligible at the same income level across the state. Local Resources During the first two weeks of September, every Walgreens store in Ohio accepted Spread Some Good donations of $1 or more at checkout registers.  A total of $13,322.26 was donated by Walgreens customers statewide for this AARP Drive to End Hunger project.
