Money & Work A new survey by AARP aimed to find out why some people fall victim to scams, while others do not.  The eye opening results show it’s not just what you do online, but your emotional state and life experiences that may make your more vulnerable. Social Security Keeps Many Out of Poverty

Money & Work Social Security keeps more than a third (36.5 percent) of South Dakotans age 65 and older out of poverty, according to a new report from the AARP Public Policy Institute. About 8 percent in that age group live in poverty even with Social Security income. About half of state residents 65-plus rely on Social Security for at least 50 percent of their family income, and 1 in 5 relies on Social Security for at least 90 percent of family income. …
