Volunteering AARP is making a difference in communities all across South Dakota.  In Blunt, volunteers are working hard to meet specific needs in their community.  After receiving a grant from AARP South Dakota, volunteers identified two projects and set to work to raise additional money to complete both projects. In 2013, volunteers focused their efforts on the Blunt Senior Center. Volunteering As the saying goes, there are only two guarantees in life, death and taxes.    There’s not much we can do about the former, but as for getting your taxes done,  AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers can help. More than 150 volunteers across the state, at a dozen locations listed below are now providing free tax preparation and assistance for taxpayers with low to moderate income.  In 2012, South Dakota volunteers served more than 9300 people and filed more than 6,000 electronic …
