Events Summertime means fun in the sun, but it also can mean high utility cost when the temperature hits those high 90s into the 100s and air conditioners start working overtime. There is the potential that consumers could see those bills go up in the fall as multiple utility companies have filed with the Wyoming Public Service Commission for rate increases. Events AARP members living in or traveling to the Cowboy State this summer can buy discount tickets to the world’s largest outdoor rodeo. Cheyenne Frontier Days, known as “the Daddy of ’em All,” offers AARP members a $3 discount off rodeo tickets July 21-25. The event draws more than 250,000 people to the area. The seminar, called “Gray Matters: Training the Grownup Brain,” will include sessions on fitness, nutrition and how the brain works.
