Protect yourself from identity theft when you shred, destroy and recycle documents and digital devices that contain your personal information at a special event at the Cuyahoga Community College West Campus in Parma on the third Saturday in April.
Join AARP and the Cuyahoga County Sherriff’s Department for our document shredding, electronic device recycling and medicine disposal event between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Tri-C West Campus parking lot, 11000 Pleasant Valley Road in Parma, OH 44130.
Our shredding, recycling and medicine disposal event is open to individuals and households free of charge. Shredding is limited to boxes or paper bags of household of personal documents.
Bring boxes or paper bags of personal documents and old electronic devices (disused cell phones, computer towers, monitors, tablets, etc.) that may contain personal information. We also are accepting medications for safe disposal.
It’s just one way we are helping you protect your identity and fight fraud. Another is by offering alerts about the latest scams that con artists have come up with. Learn more about protecting your family and friends at www.aarp.org/fraudwatchnetwork
