Help Georgians Save Money: Join The AARP Tax-Aide Program Volunteer Team

We are seeking people, who wish to help others, and we will provide complete, free training for qualified applicants in the following roles:

A. STATE COORDINATOR: Need a well-organized seasoned leader  to assist  the experienced team of  20 Districts Coordinators including the 850 volunteers, located throughout the state, in executing our 2014 Plan. This role can be based anywhere within the state of Georgia. The opportunity is available immediately.

B. TAX  PREPARERS: Needed throughout the State from January to April.  No prior experience required. Training will be offered, but applicants must have computer knowledge.

C. CLIENT FACILITATORS: Needed throughout the state and are responsible to check in clients and make sure they have all the necessary paper work to have taxes prepared.

D. COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANTS: Needed throughout the state and are responsible for informing their communities by coordinating newspaper announcements and advertisements, distributing posters to local retailers, senior facilities, churches, and other venues for community outreach.

We offer training for each of these volunteer roles starting in early January.
