Share Your Opinion: Oahu's Water Master Plan

Washing Hands

Are you interested in the future of Oahu's water supply? Water quality, affordability and availability are critical parts of being able to live well and age in place in Hawaii.

The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is looking for public comment on their draft of the Water Master Plan (WMP), a comprehensive program that looks ahead 30 years to evaluate the entire water system, quantify future demands and source options, identify necessary improvements, and balance needs and costs of providing water to residents and visitors.

Written comments on the plan will be accepted until September 12, 2016. To view a copy of the plan, visit the BWS webpage. Comments on the plan can be emailed to BWSWaterMasterPlan@hbws.org or sent by mail to: 630 South Beretania Street, Honolulu, HI 96843, Attn: Water Master Plan. Please take two minutes to share your opinion to help make your community a better one!
