New Knowledge Adventures offers affordable classes for adults who enjoy lifelong learning.

Cosponsored by AARP Idaho, Idaho State University and the Treasure Valley YMCA, the program provides exploration and fellowship in a noncompetitive environment at the university’s campus in Boise.

Students age 50-plus can enroll in as many classes as they like for just $35 per semester. The catalog for the fall semester includes more than 100 classes, with something for everyone. Interested in wine tasting? Snowshoeing? Painting on silk? How about therapeutic drumming? Bear safety? Or craters of the moon?
