AARP members are invited to spend a fun, sociable and informative day at the state Capitol on Feb. 7, AARP Idaho Lobby Day.

The annual event, which includes a free lunch and a chance to visit with state legislators, is open to everyone who wants to show support for AARP Idaho’s legislative priorities for 2017. Participants will attend legislative committee meetings and floor sessions, and will learn about issues such as support for family caregivers and financial security.

Lobby Day demonstrates AARP’s ongoing commitment to fight for the concerns of Idaho’s aging population. To register, call Francoise Cleveland, AARP Idaho state advocacy director, at 866-295-7284 toll-free, or email idaarp@aarp.org.
