Join AARP at Larry Gatlin May 19

Connect with AARP Wisconsin staff, volunteers and other members for a special discounted performance of “Larry Gatlin: Stories and Songs” at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 North Water St., Milwaukee. The discount is for the performance on Friday, May 19, at 7:30 p.m., in the Wilson Theatre in Vogel Hall.

Over a four-decade career as a solo artist and with The Gatlin Brothers, Larry Gatlin has scored 33 Top 40 hits and won several awards including a Grammy. Gatlin is known for his rich falsetto singing style and for the unique pop-inflected songs he wrote and recorded in the 1970s and 80s.

Some of Gatlin's biggest hits include "Broken Lady", "All the Gold in California", "Houston (Means I'm One Day Closer to You)", "She Used to Be Somebody's Baby", and "Talkin' to the Moon.”

Performance discounts for AARP members and their guests are as follows:

Orchestra level – regular price $48, discount price $35.

Loge level – regular price $48, discount price $35.
