Join with fellow AARP members to view historic buildings and exhibits that highlight the history Dayton and the lives of its world-famous residents. Among the special features of the park is the Wright Brothers Aviation Center, which houses the 1905 Wright Flyer III, the world’s first practical airplane. Also featured on the park grounds is an original lock from the Miami & Erie Canal and a canal toll office.

Look for AARP volunteers in red shirts near the historic barn that houses a carousel. There you can learn about other AARP activities and how you can make an impact in your community. Be sure to get your ticket for free ice cream at the end of your tour.

Admission is free for AARP members, but registration is required. RSVP online or by calling toll-free 1-877-926-8300.
