Keep Social Security Top of Mind for Candidates!

Civic engagement from istock
Our first-in-the-nation primary is right around the corner and it’s time for all the Presidential candidates to Take a Stand on their plans to update Social Security for the 21st century. We need Presidential leadership to make sure Social Security is financially sound so current and future generations can receive the adequate benefits they’ve earned.   And we need your help.

Please join AARP New Hampshire and other Granite Staters in participating in events, asking candidates questions about Social Security, and getting them on the record regarding this bedrock of financial security. In New Hampshire, we are in a unique and important spot as we have the power to open doors with candidates, draw out their positions, and educate the electorate about where they stand.

To find out how you can get involved with AARP’s Take a Stand campaign, join us at an upcoming informational session -- January 13, 14, 15 or 16 – in Durham, Concord, Keene or Manchester.
