Learn how to grow your own food at a Yard to Table workshop

Baton Rouge, La. – Have the magnificent azalea blooms and promises of spring inspired your green thumb? Now is the perfect time to start your own vegetable garden.

Join AARP Louisiana and Green Light New Orleans for Yard to Table and learn how to grow your own vegetables and herbs right in your backyard. Licensed master gardeners will teach you how to build and maintain a garden and how to grow vegetables from seeds at this free workshop. You’ll leave with a packet full of seeds to get started and recipes to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
