Enter and win the chance to have your entrance fee paid for the Colfax ½ Marathon* and 16 sessions with a personal trainer (running coach)! In return, we ask that you share your experience weekly by submitting 100-250 word article. How do you enter? Welcome to the urban jungle! The Colfax Half Marathon is the only race to run through Denver Zoo!
The 13.1 mile Colfax Half Marathon is the only race with a wild one mile run through Denver Zoo. Runners may wonder who’s watching who in the zoo: the monkeys, mountain sheep, elephants and the rhino really get a kick out of the race. Enjoy fast, flat and shady boulevards in Denver’s historic Park Hill neighborhood – and the favorite run through Aurora Fire Station #1. Along the way, enjoy some quintessentially Colorado entertainment.
Runners will receive:

Easy Packet Pick Up
The Colfax Marathon Health & Fitness Expo has expanded! It will be on three floors at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium in the Club Suites. Escalators and the Bronco ramps will get you in and out quickly. Pick up your Expo Passport and check off the must-do’s: pick up your packet, race shirt and beer tickets. Find out about pace groups, parking, and all the nitty gritty details. Free parking – and plenty of it.
Hydration Stations Every 2 Miles
Amazing volunteers man the aid stations supplied with water and Gatorade every 2 miles – and these are the spots you’ll find porta-potties, too. Gu is waiting at mile 6.
