AARP North Dakota invites you to join us in Bismarck from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, for a You’ve Earned a Say Listening Session.
You will learn about various proposals being discussed to make changes to Medicare. AARP will outline some responsible solutions to strengthen the program for current and future generations as well as the negative impact of some harmful cuts being proposed.
Attendees will have a chance to interact about the importance of the program to current retirees and future generations of North Dakotans.
This Listening Session is part of AARP’s “You’ve Earned a Say” events around North Dakota and the country. AARP is taking the conversation about Social Security and Medicare out from behind closed doors in Washington, DC, and engaging those who pay into the programs about what changes should or should not be made.
Please make plans to join us on Sept. 19 at the Ramada Bismarck Hotel (formerly the Doublewood). Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Register here, or call toll-free 1-877-926-8300.
AARP will continue to oppose harmful cuts and push for responsible change to strengthen Medicare and Social Security. For more on specific Medicare solutions AARP supports, read our Medicare solutions fact sheet.
