As the 2018 legislative session nears, AARP Maine will host a celebration to honor its volunteers—and meet potential new ones—on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Maple Hill Farm in Hallowell.
AARP Maine will be calling on volunteers early in 2018 to help advocate on behalf of its 230,000 members and their families. With that in mind, the event will include training in advocacy and communication skills. In addition, the winner of AARP Maine’s Andrus Award for Community Service will be honored, and lunch will be served.
Seats are limited and registration is required. For more information or to register, go to aarp.cvent.com/AnnualMeeting2017 or call 866-554-5380 toll-free.
