Save the date for these upcoming webinars covering Medicaid expansion in Montana.

1. Medicaid Expansion in Indian Country
Monday, November 30th at 11am


This webinar will review the nuts and bolts of Medicaid expansion and American Indians including: a brief Medicaid expansion overview, Medicaid expansion benefits for American Indians, application and enrollment overview, Medicaid plan benefits, and Q & A.

On the webinar, we'll be joined by staff from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services to help answer questions. This webinar is scheduled for 1.5 hours to allow ample time for questions. Register for the webinar here. If you have a question that you want answered, email Olivia: oriutta@mtpca.org and we'll try to incorporate it into the webinar content.

2. Cover Montana Monthly Webinar - Wednesday, December 16th at 11am

We'll cover emerging issues and challenges during the first-half of open enrollment, plan selection tips and best practices, and how to get ready for tax time: talking about the penalty and working with local tax volunteers. Register for the webinar now.

Please note that we have switched the way participants register for webinars. After you register, you'll receive a confirmation email that includes the web login information as well as the number to dial for audio. Also, we have begun scheduling webinars for 1.5 hours to make sure we don't run out of time with all of the new information and questions about Medicaid expansion. 

 









New Resources

  • Are you a new enrollment assister and looking for a walk-through of the Marketplace application as you get trained? CMS has a You Tube video where they walk though a Marketplace application. This will help as you prepare to do your first enrollments!
  • Check out the the Assister's Guide to Resources, a new tool from CMS that gives an overview of federal and state agencies and how they can help assisters. It also covers many of the national organizaiton that work on outreach and enrollment. This is a good overview, especially if you are a new enrollment assister.
  • Cover Montana has been busy creating memes for social media (like this one to the right). Please make sure you "like" Cover Montana on Facebook and feel free to share our memes on your personal and organizational pages!
