Money matters when it comes to enjoying peace of mind and independence in life!  Yet saving in these tough economic times is hard and being responsible isn’t always enough. An unstable stock market, Washington gridlock and an uncertain economy can make the dream of financial peace of mind seem out of reach.

The Money Matters Conference is a morning of free, no-strings-attached financial workshops designed to equip you with practical tools and resources to turn your dreams into real possibilities.

The conference is presented in collaboration with Aurora Family Services - Center for Financial Wellness/Elder Service Money Management, Interfaith Older Adult Programs, Legal Action of Wisconsin/SeniorLAW, the Social Security Administration, and the Social Development Commission.

In addition to the workshops, local financial planning experts, benefits specialists, and credit report counselors will be available to meet with you one-on-one. Representatives from select area agencies will also be there with resources and programs to help you protect and extend your current resources.

Tuesday, April 26, 2016
