Raise Your Voice Before they Raise Your Rates

Franklin, Highlands, Marion, Nantahala and Otto:

Duke Energy has proposed residential rate hikes that would hurt North Carolinians by raising your electric rates over 14 percent next year. These increases are especially difficult for seniors who are living on fixed incomes.

But together, we can speak up against these harmful rate increases, so you can keep more of the money you've earned.

Join AARP North Carolina in fighting to keep rates affordable for all North Carolinians by attending the NC Utilities Commission's Public Hearings:

Tuesday, May 21, 7:00 pm, Macon County Courthouse, 5 W. Main St., Courtroom A, in Franklin.

Wednesday, May 22, 7:00 pm, McDowell County Courthouse, 21 S. Main St., Marion.
