You can eat cotton candy, groove to live music and enjoy Senior Day festivities on Oct. 15 at the South Carolina State Fair. AARP members and nonmembers alike are invited to the AARP pavilion, where everyone will be treated to useful information and toe-tapping entertainment.
The speakers stage will feature interviews with candidates on the November ballot, fielding questions about issues that affect South Carolinians age 50-plus. Visitors can pose questions by being photographed with the “AARP Flat People,” cardboard cutouts of volunteers holding a whiteboard on which the question is written.
