AARP Eye Center
While we at AARP New Hampshire have been putting our collective fists to the grindstone in preparation for our upcoming Community Tours (with Keene ready to launch in just a few days!) we’ve still found time to criss-cross the state and use these precious few weeks before the Election Day to our advantage!
Speaking of Keene, we decided that we just couldn’t wait until the official start of our Community Tour and took a trip out there to have a letter writing blitz with some of our Monadnock region volunteers.
And as the race for New Hampshire’s hotly contested Senate seat gets down to the proverbial wire, Take A Stand New Hampshire isn’t missing a single opportunity to make a strong showing at every candidate event. Which is why we found ourselves in beautiful Windham, NH as Senator Kelly Ayotte campaigned with Iowa’s junior Senator Joni Ernst.
And in a Kodak moment Normal Rockwell would be proud of, our superb volunteer Len Morrill stood up to ask Senator Ayotte about her plan to make Social Security strong for future generations.
And we wrapped it all up with our annual AARP NH Day of Service, where we spent the day volunteering with Liberty House New Hampshire to help homeless veterans in the Granite State.
