The Art of Aging: Life Begins at Fifty in Fredericksburg

AARP Virginia welcomes Fredericksburg area residents to attend the Art of Aging Conference hosted by the Partners in Aging, Inc. to learn smart strategies for healthy aging. More than 80 organizations and agencies will be on hand to share information about their services and activities.

"The Art of Aging is the premiere annual event for people 50+ in Fredericksburg. It offers a valuable opportunity to learn about resources, services in the area and to network with others.” Said James L. Brooks, AARP Virginia associate state director. “AARP Virginia is proud to be a sponsor for this key event again this year. We hope to see you there."

The Art of Aging Expo will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday, June 11 at the Fredericksburg Expo and Convention Center, 2371 Carl D. Silver Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. Attendees will learn what programs and services are available to help them better embrace the art of aging.

This is a free event open to the public. The Conference will include:

  • Free health screenings
  • Door prizes

Bring your AARP member card to the AARP booth for a free gift while supplies last.
