The Holiday Project is inviting you to celebrate Easter with the Community

Celebrate Easter with people living in senior facilities who may have no other holiday visitors.

 

The Holiday Project is continuing its efforts this spring with Easter Sunday community visits to many people in nursing homes and assisted living facilities who will spend the holidays without family.

“Many of the volunteers who participated in the December 25th event sponsored by The Holiday Project, AARP Virginia and Beth Sholom Temple asked if we could do it again.” said Sally Cooney Anderson, The Holiday Project organizer. “We are happy to announce, that we will do visits this Easter Sunday, April 20.”

Join The Holiday Project from 1- 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 20 at the Beth Sholom Temple, 805 Lyons Boulevard in South Stafford for their first ever Easter visits. The Holiday project’s goal is to make visits to people in nursing homes and other institutions an integral part of America’s holiday experience and to bring the spirit of a holiday to people who otherwise would not have a celebration.To learn more visit   http://www.holidayproject.info/how.
