Webcast: How the health care law works for you

Join AARP experts and Dr. Elena Rios, President and CEO of the National Hispanic Medical Association, for this webcast on how the health care law gives Latinos greater control over your own health care.

Learn How:
  • You won't be denied coverage if you have a pre-existing condition like diabetes, high-blood pressure or even cancer.
  • You get more preventive care for free. Diabetes and cholesterol screenings, mammograms, immunizations and screenings for certain cancers are covered.
  • Children are covered until they turn 26, under your family health insurance plan.
  • To get the coverage you need and options for financial help to cover the costs.

If you or a family member need health care coverage, register today. This 60-minute event will include time for you to ask questions of Dr. Rios and AARP experts.
