We have an exciting opportunity in our Idaho State Office located in Boise for a dynamic, innovative lobbyist with significant knowledge of Idaho, who will be responsible for building a cohesive,

integrated, and highly functioning advocacy enterprise in Idaho that focuses on increasing engagement, impact, and relevance for the state’s growing population of 50+. You’ll create a successful strategic unit that enables the Association to achieve goals and objectives; act as a catalyst to bring together groups to advance the priorities of AARP and its membership.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, 5-7 years of directly related experience and candidates must demonstrates a strong understanding of the state’s political and community service environment (e.g., community service leaders, partners, organizations, critical state-wide community service needs, legislative leaders, government officials, major stakeholders, etc.). Previous government relations and grassroots organizing experience strongly encouraged. In state travel up to 50%.
