The Fall-like weather brings back football, changing leaves, and of course, kicks the election campaign season in to high gear. Your voice matters, and AARP can help you make informed choices before you head to the polls November 4th. There are a number of ways to learn where the candidates stand on the issues that matter most to you and your family.
AARP South Dakota is proud to join with South Dakota Public Broadcasting and the South Dakota News Paper Association to bring you televised candidate debates, and help you learn about the candidates who want to represent you in Pierre and in Washington. During the month of September, tune in to the “Meet the Candidates” series on South Dakota Public Broadcasting. Programs will feature candidates running for the state legislature. Check your local listings or watch on the web.

October 16: United States House
October 23: United States Senate
October 30: Profiles of candidates for Secretary of State, Attorney General, and summary of ballot initiatives.
