Members and their guests can get the tickets to see the city’s only major-league sports team. Since 1999 the Spurs have been a top NBA contender, winning five championships.
“We’re known for our national offers, but this is special to San Antonio because this is our team,” said Lisa Rodriguez, advocacy and outreach director for AARP in San Antonio.
There’s no limit on the number of tickets, but members should act quickly to make their purchases, since the annual Spurs promotion, in its fourth year, has been the most popular local one that AARP offers.
Tickets will be available to these four games: Tuesday, Jan. 29, against the Phoenix Suns; Thursday, Jan. 31, against the Brooklyn Nets; Wednesday, Feb. 27, against the Detroit Pistons; and Monday, March 4, against the Denver Nuggets.
All games are at AT&T Center and start at 7:30 p.m. except the Feb. 27 Detroit game, which starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased only online, by visiting spursgroups.com/aarpoffers and clicking on Redeem Tickets at the bottom of the page. Use the offer code FAN.
