A Powerful Evening with Black Women Who Lead!

In commemoration of the 50 years since the historic passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 and the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., AARP New York invites you to join “Black Women Who Lead”, a conversation about the leadership of black women, then and now, on April 11th at the Schomburg Center in Harlem.

Come honor the leadership of black women with host, Dr. Traci Alexander who will interview Beverly Bond, Founder & Executive Director, Black Girls Rock! and invited guests: Hazel Dukes, President of the New York NAACP; Arva Rice, President & CEO of the NY Urban League.
