Are you a passionate, strategic thinker with outstanding leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire others? Do you have a passion for issues that impact the more than 7 million Florida residents age 50+? If so, we have a once-in-a-lifetime volunteer opportunity for you!

AARP Florida is conducting a statewide search for the position of state president. This is a high-level volunteer position that allows you to utilize your skills and experience to make a positive difference in the lives of people 50+ in the Sunshine State.

AARP’s volunteer state president works closely with the AARP Florida staff, leads and motivates hundreds of AARP Florida volunteers, helps shape AARP’s work on behalf of people of all generations, and exerts real influence over key state and national issues and decision-makers. There simply aren’t many better ways to have a positive impact on the lives of people 50+ in Florida.
