Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is renowned for celebrating the human spirit through the African-American cultural experience and the American modern dance heritage.

If you are attending, join us at the reception on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Lobby area on the First Ring level of Modell Lyric. The Ailey Artistic Director, Robert Battle, will tell us about the performance and AARP’s support.
Immediately following the performance, AARP members and guests have an optional backstage tour to meet a couple Ailey dancers and hear about their lives with the Company. Guests may ask questions and take photos.
