AARP California to Host Medicare Call-in Talk Show with Center for Medicare Services

AARP CALIFORNIA TO HOST MEDICARE CALL-IN TALK SHOW WITH CENTER FOR MEDICARE SERVICES

WHAT: Up to 500 Spanish speaking callers can attend a call-in talk show to learn about Medicare Open Enrollment just by dialing a toll-free number (see below). The phone talk show, conducted in Spanish, is hosted by AARP California with Roberto Diaz, Health Insurance Specialist with the Center for Medicare Services.

WHEN: Friday, November 22, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

WHY: Medicare open enrollment began in mid-October and runs through December 7, 2013. With Medicare open enrollment happening concurrently with Covered California open enrollment, many Medicare patients are confused. We want to provide a way to answer questions and clear up that confusion so patients can access the care that they need for themselves and their family.

TO JOIN CALL: On Friday, November 22, 2013, call 877-229-8493 and enter the pin code 15119 when prompted. We recommend callers join a few minutes prior to the start of the call, which begins at 11:00 a.m.
