The  AARP Community Challenge grant provides communities across the country with the chance to fund quick action projects that can inspire change in areas such as transportation, open spaces, housing, and other innovative ideas to improve communities and make them better places to live for all ages and abilities.

On Tuesday, June 6, AARP formally welcomed the City of Novato into AARP’s Network of Age-Friendly Communities. AARP California Associate State Director of Community, Rafi Nazarians, presented the City of Novato with the official certificate of membership during the City Council’s general session.
