Conscious Aging

DenverPublicLibrary

Conscious Aging is an eight-week series about embracing aging and living and passionate and fulfilling mature life. The program, offered by the Denver Public Library, is facilitated by Catherine Dockery, MA*, and is held every Monday at 2 p.m. beginning Feb. 27, 2017.

Check out this groundbreaking series of workshops on how to transform the aging process at the Schlessman Family Library, 100 Poplar St. Denver, CO 80220.  This eight-part series will explore a variety of topics to enable people to come to grips with, and even become excited about, getting older.

Many people prepare financially for getting older, but few people do the emotional work necessary to thrive as they age. Indeed, most people dread aging, and it is not uncommon for newly retired people to feel lost and depressed.

But aging does not have to be difficult. When people embrace aging, they turn it into a meaningful and enjoyable phase of life.

To register, please call 720-865-0000. Or email vsandlia@denverlibrary.org

*Ms. Dockery is a professional facilitator and energy work practitioner. She is Executive Director of the Center for Conscious Aging and a member of the City and County of Denver's Commission on Aging.
