Consider Polishing Your Skills With a Driver Safety Class

Driver Safety logo

To keep everyone safe on the roads and highways of the Granite State, consider brushing up on your driving skills by taking the AARP Smart Driver Course through the AARP Driver Safety Program.

Participants can take the course in a classroom or online to refresh defensive driving skills. The course covers changes in traffic rules and new devices — such as flashing yellow turn arrows, highway on-ramp meters, and traffic circles or "roundabouts."

The course fee is $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. Upon completion, people age 55 and older may be eligible for an auto insurance discount.

To sign up for class in New Hampshire, visit  aarp.org/drive and click on Course Locator. Learn more about safety on the road through our Driving Resource Center.
