Tax season is upon us and so is the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program!
Tax-Aide offers free, individualized tax preparation for low- to moderate income taxpayers, especially those 50 and older, at several locations across the Granite State. All tax counselors are volunteers that are trained by the IRS to provide free tax preparation services. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide has grown tremendously since is inaugural team of just four volunteers in 1968. Last year, in New Hampshire alone, 282 volunteers manned 46 site locations to help a whopping 19,491 Granite Staters! And this year, we’re back for more.
