Be the Difference in Your Community

Every single day, AARP Idaho's volunteers fuel our work in communities across the state. Without the hundreds who donate their time, skills and passion, we wouldn’t have enough capacity to help struggling older adults transform their lives.

We love our volunteer corps, and we’d be thrilled to add you to their ranks. If you would like to learn more about our volunteer opportunities we encourage your to attend our next monthly volunteer network meeting.

WHEN:  January 11, 2018 New volunteers are invited to attend an orientation at 1:15pm. For everyone else the meeting will begin at 2:00pm.

WHAT: This month we will dive deeper into our work with the Idaho legislature. We will learn about volunteer opportunities within the session. We will talk more about Lobby Day, our telephone town hall with leadership, committee hearings and about the Idaho Family Caregiver Act.

WHERE:  AARP Office, 250 S. 5th Street, Suite 800, Boise

Afterwards, plan on spending some extra time with us from 3:00 - 4:00 for appetizers and fun conversation in the Basque Block at  Leku Ona restaurant ( a two block walk from the office).
