Join us for a special telephone town hall with Chuck Harwood of the Federal Trade Commission’s Northwest Regional Office. Mr. Harwood is a fraud awareness and prevention expert and will share his experience with Idahoans on an interactive telephone town hall October 19 at 11:00am (MTN).

Mr. Harwood has been Director of the Federal Trade Commission’s Northwest Regional Office since 1989, except for 2009 through 2013, when he was Deputy Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, in Washington and served for a time as the acting director. Over more than 30 years as an FTC attorney, Chuck has worked to prevent deceptive and anticompetitive practices and promote privacy and information security in the marketplace, though law enforcement, policy development, and education.
