AARP AARP States Idaho Volunteering

Make a Difference in your Community

IMG_4837

Every single day AARP Idaho volunteers make a positive difference in communities across our state. Whether it’s preparing tax returns, keeping drivers safe on the roads, protecting consumers from fraud, teaching continuing education classes or facilitating our popular Movies for Grownups program, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do….and we do a lot!

If you would like to learn more about our volunteer opportunities we encourage you to attend the next monthly volunteer network meeting on June 5th. It’s a great way to check out how AARP is disrupting aging across the Gem State, find some activities you may be interested in and make some new friends along the way.

We’ll be learning more about our community work that ensures elected officials, local leaders, policy makers, planners and citizen activists help cities and counties across Idaho create age-friendly and livable communities for people of all ages.

New Volunteers are invited to attend an orientation meeting at 1:00pm. The network meeting will begin at 2:00pm

If you have any questions please email Cathy McDougall at cmcdougall@aarp.org
