Director of Advocacy Named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women!

AARP Maryland is proud to announce that our own Tammy Bresnahan, Associate State Director of Advocacy, has been named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women in 2017! Tammy was one of 99 other women honored who have achieved amazing accomplishments and have shown what it means to be an exemplary citizen. Tammy was awarded on April 24 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore. Click here to see the full list of Maryland’s Top 100 Women.

The awards don’t stop there! Tammy is also the recipient of the AARP Lyn Bodiford Award for Excellency in Advocacy for her work during the 2016 calendar year. Tammy received four nominations and was instrumental in getting the CARE Act passed in Maryland last year. Tammy will be awarded May 26 in Washington, DC.

We can certainly speak to Tammy’s many accomplishments and recognize her as an advocate, leader and role model. Congratulations, Tammy these awards are incredibly well deserved!
