Attend Our Free "Operation Stop Scams" Shredding Events

In recognition of national Money Smart Week®, the AARP Fraud Watch Network is hosting Operation Stop Scams, a series of nationwide events from April 14–May 16. In Massachusetts, AARP is offering two free shredding events, one in April and one in May. Details are below.

In the U.S. every 2 seconds someone’s identity is stolen. Shredding confidential documents no longer needed is a good way for people to protect themselves from ID theft and fraud, and the AARP Fraud Watch Network wants to help. Bring any confidential documents to our Operation Stop Scams event, and we’ll shred them for FREE. It only takes a few minutes and can save you lots of headaches later on!

All shredding is done on-site and there is a limit of 3 boxes per individual. This event is free of charge and is open to the public.
Registration is requested but not required. We are also collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local food pantry.
