AARP Mississippi is inviting all Veterans in the area to attend the AARP Veterans Town Hall on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Lady Luck Casino Arena, 1380 Warrenton Road in Vicksburg. The event is free. Veterans may bring one guest. Lunch will be served.

State President is AARP’s highest volunteer position in Mississippi, representing 285,000 AARP members in the state. In partnership with the State Director, volunteers and staff, the State President helps the organization achieve its vision, mission and strategic priorities.

(Jackson, MS) - As a part of Operation: Stop Scams, AARP Mississippi is presenting a free shredding event on Friday, April 28, 2017, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the United Artist Parkway Theater parking lot. The theater is located on 1075 Parkway Blvd. in Flowood. Shredding services are open to the public.  Representative Mark Baker will speak promptly at noon on methods Mississippians can utilize to defend themselves against fraud.
