AARP AARP States Minnesota Scams & Fraud

Monthly Fraud Fighter Meetings

Avoiding identity theft, scams and other frauds is one of our members’ top concerns. That’s why in Minnesota a network of fraud fighting volunteers is educating the public about how to protect their hard-earned savings. To keep everyone informed of the latest scams, Jay Haapala from the state office hosts regular meetings.

Upcoming meetings are scheduled for October 31 and December 2 at 10:00 a.m. Volunteers can join the conference call by dialing 1-866-215-3402 then code 1265653 when prompted. Twin Cities-area volunteers can join in-person at the Mall of America AARP Information Center. Email Jay at jhaapala@aarp.org to get invitations and follow-up notes from the meetings.
