NeighborWalks in Rogue Valley

Seniors Walking



There are many reasons for walking - for health and wellness, to get to places and save gas, and of course, to connect with community! Join AARP Oregon and Rogue Valley Transportation District this September for two great NeighborWalks in the Rogue Valley. Get your steps in, meet new people, and explore Medford and Grantspass on foot. These walks are part of the Oregon Drive Less Challenge.

NeighborWalks: Medford
Monday, Sept 25th at 10:30am
Meet: In front of the Library, 205 S. Central Ave, Medford
Come explore downtown Medford in this fun walk downtown
with AARP Oregon and RVTD. Learn how your transportation choices can improve your health.
1.7 miles – 2 hours – 3,400 steps

NeighborWalks: Grantspass
Thursday, Sept 28th at 10:30am
Meet: Lawnridge Park, 1090 NW Hawthorne Ave, Grants Pass
Join us for a fun walk downtown. Explore Grantspass’s historical neighborhoods and learn about pedestrian and bicycle improvements.
1.7 miles – 2 hours – 3,400 steps
