While the wounds are still raw from the terrible tragedy of October 1, 2017 in Las Vegas, the AARP Nevada staff discussed the event in this month's Nevada Voices podcast.
The Las Vegas community continues to band together in the wake of the tragedy as a result of the mass shooting on the famous Las Vegas Strip. The entire AARP Nevada staff joins us to discuss the event, its impact on them, and its wider impact on AARP members, volunteers and the community as a whole.
AARP Nevada President Mary Liveratti joins us to offer the view of Northern Nevadans and their outreach to the Las Vegas community in wake of the event. She also discusses the importance of volunteers during the incident and every day in our community.
The team also gives you and overview of the fun and exciting events AARP Nevada is hosting in both October and November - from Reno to Las Vegas.
