Check Out the Romantic Habits of Animals

Romantic Habits of Animals photo.jpg

The courtship behaviors of our native animals can be pretty interesting! This is the time of year our wild friends are on the lookout for a mate.

The Massabesic Audubon is offering AARP members and their guests a special price of $12 per person to the upcoming Romantic Habits of Animals. The session will be held Thursday, February 20, from 6:30 to 8 pm, at the Massabesic Audubon, 26 Audubon Way in Auburn. Preregistration is required by calling 603 668 2045.

Audubon experts will lead participants in a discussion of the courtship behaviors of our native animals. Did you know that many mammals (and birds) spend February and the coming months finding mates through a variety of interesting calls, behaviors and habits . . . which are fascinating to observe?

Celebrate Valentine’s Day a bit late with a great educational session, refreshments and chocolate! Bring your friends, family and neighbors for a 90-minute workshop on the Romantic Habits of Animals. Adults only, please.
